Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry! Really punters I am very sorry. No time to fart. I'm commuting some of the time, having to amuse the family other times, drinking and attending shows on other occasions, dog walking, eating, parking and paying exorbitant rates for the privilege other times. Rock and roll though!

I've not read all the reviews but I am aware of two 2s, two 4s and a magic 5 on the first day. Will I ever hit the height of Five big ones again on this run? Doubt it, but I've never had a Five before from a proper reviewer so I am in hog heaven review wise. Also two fours fuckin hell!! I've only had a solitary four on average once a run. I think I had none back in 2003 and then a ration of one per year in 08, 09 and last year. And on the good reviews this year they do say that the show is FUNNY. Now that's novel, judging a show on it's level of humour!! Perhaps 'up beat' and 'life affirming' are so 2011 and maybe funny is the new funny. who knows.

It's been a crazy double up weekend as well with The Hyena, The Stand Newcastle Assembly show and earlier in the week a Casino gig getting done on top of my fringe effort. Last night's show was the best yet. Good on you Leighton and Stuart Calvert for coming in and laughing like drains. A great show. I had to fly back down to the toon to do Assembly and believe it or not that was good as well. A healthy 50 or so were in the room, all laughing to the right bits.

One week to go, 7 more gigs. If you're in the area do please come. I'm hoping for a few more raucous ones before the end. I'm fairly certain I won't do this show again so this week is your last chance punters!
