|Fringe 2012 Day 7 (or something)|
Hello everyone. Day 7 or 8 or something. Who cares. It's the usual fayre of pricks, nice people, more pricks, at their wits end bar staff, royal pricks, horrible Chortle journalists, the creme de la prick creme, acts getting away from it all by drinking in Bodo's and various others.
I've done an interview near Bristo Square with some nice lads with a camera crew from Bristol, I've done a podcast, well a celebrated one for Richard Herring yesterday and I've had another reviewer in, a feller from Fest who I don't think looked too impressed to be frank, ha ha!!
It's now Thursday and week 1 has been tough. There's been a few shows pulled from a few people and I've only got by with the two for ones, the bums on seats and various other favours pulled. Thanks to all the comedians that have come in so far and laughed loudly. Just keep that going and we might get more punters back next year when I promise I'll do a show to end all shows, there that'll keep you dangling when I fuckin think of one.
Thanks for laughing yesterday at Richard Herring's podcast those of you that were there. It was good fun and great to share the stage with Richard and this Foley feller who I'm told is a bit of a legend. The young comics outside were saying that I was a 'lucky so and so' to be working with him, I suppose it must be as exciting when I did a gig and people like Frank Clark and Bobby Moncour were watching. It would be great to do a podcast where Angus Young was the guest or Steve Jones and Paul Cook of the Pistols. Anyway I come in at about 40 minutes, here's the link:- http://soundcloud.com/britishcomedyguide/richard-herring-edinburgh-podcast-2012-07
Right that's me off. I went to see Simon Munnery yesterday, I'd recommend that big style bonny lad. Go and see him. Why isn't he on telly, oh fuck I thought I'd got over the worst of that. Speak tomorrow.
