Said by the great Phil Daniels in the wonderful Scum. Ha ha I know it's funny to say the wonderful Scum in an actory voice but it was and he was. Shame he did Sunnyside Farm in the mid 90s and it never worked out. Still this happens. What about David Threlfall in Nightingales with James Ellis and Robert Lindsay?!! I reckon Threlfall's finest hour but he'll get more well known for Shameless as will Lindsay for My Family and Citizen Smith if you're over 40. Slow news day today as you can tell. Some bollocks about the front row or something being trailered on Sky at the moment with the usual fuckin suspects of comedians seen having a whale of a time with props, gadgets and funny hats while the general public get a good baiting at their expense. It appears that comedians can do no wrong at the moment. They're all national treasures for going on these parlour game shows and thinking on their feet. Well have a look at the credits and you'll see that watchamacally Fraser Steele is writing all this on the spot 'mayhem' with Will Ing and Dan Gastor and Charlie Skelton and Sean Pye and all the rest of the fuckers who without them I don't know what these piss poor peddlers of shite observations would do. Such a shame to see genuinely funny people like Frank Skinner on them, oh well as long as it pays for their big house who gives a shit if it's awful candy floss fuckin telly. I've lost friends as a result of this stance but I'm not going to sit here and say that this stuff is good, it's in the main shite, actually the vast majority of the time it's pure shite and proper good comedians share the stage or rather the seats behind the desk with people who aren't nearly as funny as my missus when she's making comments at the telly with a glass of wine and that's with a team of talented writers working on the jokes all day with the stuff they've been shown that they go to great lengths to tell us is sight read. Fuckers. Speak tomorrow.
